As a Textiles Designer, I am heavily influenced by colour and pattern. Colour, in Textiles, is particularly important for a collection to feel cohesive.
Previously, my work has not experimented with either text or the colour story. So, I feel I have expanded my skill set even further. The team project was definitely unique experience. It took time to adjust working with others.
Each team member played to our specialisms - Fashion, Textiles, Footwear & Accessories. For me, I have developed my patience when working with others. The project has concluded as naturally as it can, even with lockdown measures in place.

A creative and positive individual. I was responsible for covering fashion design process in this project.
I was creating in the team for the first time, I have learned to listen to others' opinions, how to combine ideas and different styles.
I am so grateful I had a chance to work with such open-minded people and I am very glad I got to know them better. I believe in every single one of us and our perspective on design.
It was really a challenge to work in lockdown and there were times when everything got a bit messy, but we sorted it out, we calmed each other down and put all our power into this project. I want to thank my team for believing in us. The depth of my gratitude to you cannot be measured.

I study Footwear and Accessories.

The shoes and accessories I have designed for this project are inspired by strength and usability. The boot shouldn’t just be stylish but user friendly.

The Bag was based on a trunk but scaled down to a practical size. As the theme is life on Mars I have taken the time to research space wear with a twist. Something modern but classic.
